Hamilton stays on top quickest in Canadian GP Friday practice


Lewis Hamilton once again set top fastest lap-time. In second practice session McLaren speedy post quickest lap ahead of championship leader Fernando Alonso. Hamilton set top lap-time for the first time after 14 minutes.

Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso done closest lap-time overthrow Lewis Hamilton, Alonso’s team-mate Felipe Massa set less than a tenth slower and done third position.

Defending world champion Sebastian Vettel managed fourth quickest lap-time ahead of a powerful performer Force India’s Paul di Resta.

Sauber’s speedy Kamui Kobayashi showed consistent performance and he done sixth fastest ahead of Mercedes GP’s Michael Schumacher.

Second Force India speedy Nico Hulkenberg set eighth fastest ahead of McLaren Jenson Button, first one hour Button stayed in garage for fixing his car oil leak trouble.

Once again today practice stopped due to red flag, in second practice after the mid-session. Williams F1’s Bruno Senna has crashed heavily into the wall of champions at Turn 14; Senna lost the rear end of his car following clipping the first kerb. He then spun backwards into the wall. Upsetting one of the Williams new rear wings among other things.
