Alonso quickest in first practice for the Spanish GP


Upgraded Ferrari shows the capability, Fernando Alonso post top fastest lap time in opening practice for the Spanish Grand Prix. The local boy set the top time in last movement of the session with 1:24.430. Leading world champion Sebastian Vettel set second fastest lap-time in mid-phase of the session with a 1:24.754.

Sauber F1’s Kamui Kobayashi done third fastest lap-time with 1:24.912, he was also done most mileage in the opening practice 28 laps.

Jenson Button set fourth fastest lap-time and McLaren guys evaluating its new nose and checking sight lines with a bar across the top of the chassis. Button’s team-mate Lewis Hamilton set eighth fastest.

Valtteri Bottas, Williams test driver done fifth fastest with Senna's race machine. Michael Schumacher set sixth fastest and Lotus speedy Romain Grosjean done seventh fastest and his team-mate Kimi Räikkönen set ninth quickest. Force India's Nico Hulkenberg completing the top 10 behind the McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton.
