Star of the Belgium Grand Prix


Double-time world champion, made a perfect start, dragged-off some sparkling overtakes and finish second on the Belgium Grand Prix podium.

Fernando Alonso was done a perfect job with Ferrari machine, skill and new second-half package lifted the Ferrari’s performance at Spa. The Spaniard starts from the ninth on the grid and perfectly finished at second on the podium. Ferrari new set-up car was much better than the last two races.

Ferrari adapt new parts in Spa have been a front wing, which derived from that used in Hungary with a slight modification, other modifications in soil and diffuser, and rear spoiler specific (average load) is traditionally made for this particular track.

"I'm happy, happy with the feel of this weekend, with the parts we brought here that seem to work well," Alonso said about new improvement.

"We have to take things calmly, because this is a very specific circuit and we are first and second in any training or qualifying or race, but we are ninth and tenth grade and we are now in the second and seventh career. So for now there is still work to do, " he added

Currently he second on the drivers’ championship, 46 points behind the championship leader Sebastian Vettel.
