Marussia to follow McLaren style typical nose

Marussia will adapt typical style nose for 2012, they are only be the second car on the grid like McLaren style design.

McLaren and Marussia will only hit the grid in Australian GP next month with typical style nose other all teams modified stepped nose in accordance with the FIA's new height regulation. One of the most important cause for this, is of course, that Marussia is using McLaren´s test rigs and wind tunnel, and despite a optimistic start for the team’s efforts during pre-season testing, they were forced to cut their running short in Barcelona, due to suspension issue.

“In fact, there was little difference in theory between the two solutions. So why take risks with something that we do not know?” said a source within the team. Aside from further mileage for Charles there was nothing more to be gained from our programme to aid our development and we now switch focus to the 2012 car, which we are all looking forward to rolling-out next week," commented team principal John Booth.
