No action over the incident involving Schumacher and Massa

Formula 1 Governing body (FIA) race stewards have chosen to take no action over the happening concerning Schumacher and Massa Ferrari in the final stages of the Canadian GP.

Among Massa having been improving from early-race troubles as Schumacher struggled from a lot worn rear tyres, the Brazilian was apparently forced onto the grass by his former team-mate on the run to the final chicane. Massa having saved his car from spinning on Lap 56, the Paulista was forced to tolerate a slow lap before pitting for repairs.

The stewards, one of which is ex double Champion Emerson Fittipaldi, have sure that no action should be taken and therefore no driver get a penalty or warning.

'The Stewards after hearing the explanation of both the Competitors representatives and the drivers decided that the incident requires no further action,' reads the stewards' official report.
