Jenson Button fined for speed limit in Monaco GP pit lane - monte carlo grand prix

McLaren’s Jenson Button was handed with a fine after breaking the agreed speed limit in the Monaco GP pit lane on First Practice Time. Informed by F1 governing body the FIA nine minutes after the first free practice session had come to a close, McLaren driver Button was recorded travelling at a speed of 63.7km/h (40mph) in the pits 13 minutes before the chequered flag flew.

With the limit being 60km/h (37.3mph), Jenson was fined a total of €800 (£690).
