Michael Schumacher be determined he can still do well in F1

The seven times world champion Michael Schumacher has insisted he stand still has a hold on the in spite of his 10th-placed end in Australia GP.

He was six places in Bahrain GP in his return race after Three year gap. But the Schumi well confident mood and he is positively looking of Sunday Malaysian GP

"We are not too far away and I am quite confident there will be more to come," Schumacher wrote on his website.

The team-mate Nico Rosberg completed fifth in Australia GP in front of him for the second time in two races. And Schumacher was a minute behind winner Jenson Button, overtaken by F1 rookie Lucas di Grassy after five laps and trailed an additional newcomer Jaime Alguersuari for 22 laps

Regardless of his poor showing, Schumacher still took the positives from his race weekend. He added: Of course that does not show at first sight but looking into our weekend more deeply, I find we did improve quite well and have a good reason to be quite satisfied - just not from the pure result obviously.

Michael had to fight back from last place in Albert Park when he had to pit at the end of the first lap to replace a broken front wing and he also felt that his race had been compromised by problems in qualifying. I think both Nico and me could have been ranked two to three positions better," he said.

I had a too conservative set-up in the end which was too much concentrated towards the race, plus I had a tear-off strip stuck in my front wing which, too, cost me some time. And going into the race from those better positions would have meant fighting for the podium.

Rosberg was seen by many as having outclassed the German legend on the track in Melbourne, yet Schumacher was optimistic for Sepang and insisted he was enjoying their rivalry. Going to Malaysia we know that clearly we improved our pace since Bahrain, which is a good feeling," he said.

It was a lot of fun fighting in Melbourne, even if it was just for one point, and I will enjoy fighting again in Sepang.

We would like to show another good race.
