Lewis Hamilton thrilled ahead of the new F1 season

The McLaren ace Lewis Hamilton is looking onward to start racing once more. Still though it seems only yesterday for the young Briton when he was racing in Abu Dhabi the coldness is finished and the 2010 F1 season will obtain under way in Bahrain in the coming weekend.

Hamilton was connected this winter by new co-driver and previous F1 world champion Jenson Button at McLaren. The British duet is hopeful to fight for the championship label again and both already said they will do whatever they can to assist the team rather than just warfare every other on track. Following four weeks of testing in Spain the F1 season will start next week in Bahrain (12-14 March). I can't consider the winter's over already it seems like only yesterday when I was racing in Abu Dhabi, Lewis Hamilton added. It's been a winter of two halves for me: before Christmas, Now I actually focused on my health fitness and training, running away to be as prepared as possible for this season. Since January, I've been completely listening on working with the team, testing the car and improving our package in front of the opening race of the year.

There is been a huge workload, but it's been incredible to work with Jenson button and the engineers to get better MP4-25, and we're all really satisfied with the growth we've made and the way we've taken. I think we have a very talented car beneath us: it's a genuine change of direction for us, and I think the potential with this car are very thrilling. Now, though, it's all about the racing - once I all set my crash helmet on and pull the visor down, I know more than anything that I am ready to go this fantastic racing.
