Ferrari concern about overheating problems

The Ferrari will talk to the cooling issue on the F10 in time for the subsequently race, after it appeared Felipe Massa backed off near the end of the Bahrain GP to protect his engine. Ferrari replaced the engines in both its cars ahead of the race in Bahrain GP, and even though Felipe Massa said in the press meeting that he backed with 30 laps to go to conserve fuel, it has now appeared that the team had some worried about engine overheating problem. But, team boss Stefano Domenicali is sure there will be a suddenly and easy solve.

The temperature of the engine is the result of the aerodynamics of the car, so we have to work on that in order to make sure we don't have any more of these kinds of issues for the next hot races, he said.

Gossips have also resurfaced that the team is working on a B spec car in order to fit in a new diffuser. It is information that ex-Toyota CFD expert Giuseppe Azzollini, who now works in Maranello, is at the back a diffuser concept that was future to be used on the TF110.

For the meantime, McLaren has constantly in its drive to close up the gap to Ferrari with Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button visiting the Working-based factory this week to work on growth to the car. Hamilton completed third at the weekend behind the Ferraris while Button ended up in an unsatisfactory seventh place.

Our speed in the race is not bad - positively not as bad as we first thought - but we still need to push actually hard to close up to the Ferraris and Red Bulls, Hamilton told the Daily Express. We believe we can close the gap on these guys and with any luck be at the top of the podium. I need to go back and give the team the main push.
