Reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel set fastest lap-time in final practice session for Spanish Grand Prix. The German splits Pastor Maldonado’s fastest time and its post best time in final seconds of the session, Vettel edged Venezuelan out by just 0.168 sec.
Pastor Maldonado seized second fastest lap-time with Williams-Renault machine and its top with a 1:23.336.
Sauber F1’s Kamui Kobayashi done third fastest ahead of Mark Webber and his team-mate Sergio Perez set fourth fastest with soft compound Pirelli.
The local boy Fernando Alonso done sixth fastest with upgraded Ferrari, Toro Rosso’s Jean-Eric Vergne followed him and done seventh fastest ahead of the McLaren’s Jenson Button.
Second practice top man Button set eighth fastest only and his team-mate Lewis Hamilton set unreliable 16th quickest.
Lotus F1’s Kimi Räikkönen done ninth fastest ahead of the Chinese GP winner Nico Rosberg, Romain Grosjean did not complete any flying laps after a fuel pressure issue stranded his Lotus at Turn 10 early on.
At the same time as Marussa’s Timo Glock was the other man to park trackside following an apparent issue at the final chicane in the closing minutes. The German stopped his Marussia just past the pit exit.
