Vettel takes dramatic pole at Spa-Francorchamps


Aug.27 - The POLE man Sebastian Vettel charted his eighth successive pole position in this year; today he was top in rain interrupted qualifying session at Spa-Francorchamps. The reigning world champion top in with 1:48.298s lap time

McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton on second in the grid under half behind the pole sitter Vettel. Vettel’s team-mate Mark Webber was third, Felipe Massa fourth and Mercedes GP’s Nico Rosberg on fifth on the grid

2009 world champion Jenson Button was one of those out of luck in the late-Q2 mix up.
Massa out qualified his team-mate Fernando Alonso for only the second time this season as they took fourth and eighth correspondingly. Mercedes GP’s Nico Rosberg put his Mercedes in fifth, while Jaime Alguersuari starred with an outstanding performance.

The Brazilian proved his skill, Bruno Senna, fantastic qualifying pace for his first appearance for Renault with seventh on the grid

Sauber driver Sergio Perez's on ninth on the grid, And the Renault GP’s driver Vitaly Petrov on tenth on the grid.

Seven times world champion Michael Schumacher's anniversary weekend went dramatically downward when his Mercedes shed a rear wheel on its out-lap at the start of Q1 and crashed heavily on the approach to Rivage, leaving him at the tail of the field… More Follow
