After the FOTA (Formula One Teams Association) conference in Monaco GP over the weekend, teams have narrowing down 2011 tyre choice to just Pirelli and Michelin, it has been exposed. Earlier to the Monaco Sunday race weekend, some manufacturers were seemingly in the running to swap the departing Bridgestone for 2011 season, with Cooper Avon and Kumho as well as the Italian and French companies.
But, Ferrari Team Principal Stefano Domenicali has said that only two options now remain in the mix."No decision has been taken yet," he explained to the media. "I think, give it another week and maybe by next weekend we will have found a solution.
"There are now only two possibilities, though - Michelin and Pirelli. I don't see any other option."
