Mercedes GP has publicized that it is expansion its partnership with STL. The communications company has been division of the Brackley-based group since the latter was under one of its previous guises in 1998, the year B.A.R buys Tyrrell. Having worked with the Formula 1 group for over a decade, STL supports Mercedes GP's telephone and data communications systems at both its team base and even as at various GP’s on the calendar.
"We are delighted to extend our partnership with STL, who have worked for the team for a considerable period of time," Mercedes GP CEO Nick Fry commented. "This experience and knowledge enables STL to understand our business intimately and achieve the tight deadlines that Formula 1 requires. We look forward to continuing our excellent relationship with them over the course of the 2010 season."
