Istanbul Park Formula 1 Circuit is located on Asian side of the Istanbul. The closest airport is Sabiha Gokcen Airport roughly 20 minutes away from the circuit and Ataturk Airport, old town Sultanahmet and main tourist attractions are on European side and the closest journey is about one and half hours with private transfers.
Because of the most of the choices of accommodation is on European side mostly guests prefers to spend the rest of the time left from Formula 1 with culture, history and shopping in big city.
The total area allocated for the Istanbul Park Circuit is 2,215,000 m2. The Track which runs anti-clockwise is 5,333 m long with an average width of 14 - 21.5 m, excluding Runoff Areas. The Circuit is composed of 14 curves, of which 6 are right turns and 8 left turns. The sharpest turn has a radius of 15m. The start-finish straight is 655.5m in length. The Track runs over 4 level sections with rising and descending grades.
The main Grand Stand has an area of 12,700 m2 and a seating capacity of 26,250 spectators. In addition, the temporary grand stands and general admission areas provide a total capacity of over 130,000 spectators with the main grand stand. The paddock buildings are two level structures. The ground floor sections are for the teams and the upper floors serve as hospitality areas with additional viewing capacity of 5,000 seats. There are two VIP towers at the two ends of paddock buildings, each consisting of 7 floors to provide a floor space of 7,392 m2.

Main Grandstand - Covered
The main grandstand is located opposite the start-finish line and the pitboxes. The middle side of the main grandstand is facing the checkered flag tower and also the left side is opposite the podium for the ceremony. The main grandstand is the closest stand to the F1 Village and facing to 3 big TV screens to follow the race easily.
Grandstand 1 - Silver 1 Tickets - Uncovered Stand
This stand is looking staright to the fastest secition where cars reach over 300 km/h and breaks down to 60 km/h and south side of the stand looks down the pit lane. There is a big screen TV opposite the tribune and has a very easy access to the F1 village.
Grandstand 2 - Bronze Tickets - Uncovered Stand
This uncovered Tribune 2 is located on the banks of the highest location of the circuit and offers you views of corners 3, 4, 5 and 6 with other surroundings. The stands are in walking distance to the F1 Village but may offer you to choose the seats on the higher part of the tribune because of the high fences.
Grandstand 5 - Bronze Tickets - Uncovered Stand
Looking over the turns 9 and 10 with chicane, have great scenes of overtaking cars and Tribune is a bit far to F1 Village but you can use the free of charge shuttle bus services provided by F1 Turkey organisation. This stand also have big screen TV located opposite.
Grandstand 8 - Silver Tickets - Uncovered Stand
You may catch the same views of the Grandstand 7 from tribune 8 but is is closer to F1 Village for easy access. Also there is a Big TV screen opposite the stand to view the rest of the race.
General Admission - Uncovered Stand
There are five different General admission sites located in circuit, you may have chance to get the best views but General Admisson tickets because of the geographical structure of the circuit. There hills and highes around the circuit having best views. But you have to walk around a bit to find the best spot and you may not find the same place when you come back after a break. Also umbrella and folding chairs highly recommended.
