Prodrive has declared that it will not be applying for way in to next season's F1 World Championship, as an alternative select by ballot to focus on a return to the World Rally scene. The group run by David Richards took the late Colin McRae to WRC title glory in the mid 1990s. Having missing in the fight to be approved by F1 governing body the FIA last year, with Campos (HRT), Manor (Virgin F1 Racing) and US F1 (obsolete) being received instead, Richards give details on Thursday that his company will now centre its labors gone from Formula 1.
