Michael Schumacher - A race you don't want to remember

Seven times World Champion Michael Schumacher makes no clandestine of the detail that he favors to look ahead than approve of Formula 1's history and the German will surely be doing the same after a hard Chinese GP on Sunday. Having recorded his last F1 win in Shanghai three and a half years ago, the German completed tenth in 2010.

Schumi pre-European season 'flyaway' races have confirmed to be tough upon making his F1 return, with results reading as follows: 6th, 10th, DNF, 10th. Now was one of those races that you do not want to keep in mind, just like the whole weekend really, Mercedes driver Michael admitted "It was not good for me and not good from me - you have to take it as another experience and accept it, even if it is frustrating that I was not able to get my tyres together better.

Describing his race strategy as 'not very impressive', Schumacher again admits to having 'fun' but now places more emphasis on overall performance. In common I had some good and taut fights, which was fun, but with my last stop being almost certainly too early, in the end I just couldn't do anything and my fights were quite hopeless then," the 7-time Champion continued. "Well done to Nico (Rosberg), who made it to the podium and at least one of us scored good points. I am looking forward to going home now but let's see if we manage to!"
