Hamilton top in second practice, McLaren Still to lead

McLarens and Mercedes GP Still lead Chinese practice session, with Ferrari still struggling to class their set-up. We also know - as if we didn't by now - the three new teams are a long way off the pace but the Saubers, which have been very deprived so far, looked a little bit more lively.

Subsequent a highly theatrical first 90-minute practice period on Friday morning, in which Ferrari's Fernando Alonso suffered another engine failure and Toro Russo’s Sébastien Buemi flew off the circuit with a bizarre suspension troubles which resulted in both front wheels detaching themselves from the car, environments remained dehydrated.

Presently one car came to a halt on-track this afternoon as Kovalainen Lotus suffered a beating of power steering (hydraulics-related) in addition to a alleged oil seep out, with the Finn having to pull over to the side of the track at Turn ten. Vitaly Petrov's Renault suffered a lurid spin at Turn seven, managing to rejoin, though Buemi did not create the session as Toro Rosso sustained repairs subsequent the impressive morning push.

The traffic problem affected McLaren and Ferrari, with hands being stunned out of the World Champion cockpits of both Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso, annoyed by the tactics of Lucas di Grassi and Bruno Senna, respectively; the Hispania driver provided his own amount of gesticulation at Turn 6, however, when frustrated with a car which refused to turn into the apex.
