2013 Korean GP: we tried to control the race - Vettel

Sebastian Vettel is even closer to their fourth championship. His victory today at the Korean Grand Prix provides their first opportunity to be a champion before the end of the season. If he wins at Suzuka and Fernando Alonso is ninth or worse, Vettel will get his fourth drivers' championship.

Therefore very valuable victory and worked by the German, who has had to deal with two safety cars. The downside of the weekend was Red Bull team for Mark Webber, whom misfortune has denied a podium that seemed more than likely after a great comeback.

"It was a long race today, but it's really great to win. The start was crucial; it is always difficult here because you're nervous about the long straight when you go from the pole. Fortunately we had good traction out and very good to out of the first corner. Kept the lead and, from there, we tried to control the race.” Vettel said

“Believe that Mercedes had a higher level than us today, but we were able to win which is great. Has been a great performance by whole team and I'm happy. Simply continue we focus on taking each step in time and try to get the best out of our car in each of the races."
