Hamilton storms to pole for German Grand Prix

Mixed emotion for Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton stormed to pole position for the German Grand Prix, but his team-mate Nico Rosberg failed to enter Q3, tomorrow he will start from 11th on the grid.

Hamilton is the first man took Pole position with Silver Arrows in home GP since 1954. Home boy Sebastian Vettel will start beside with Lewis Hamilton in front row following strong qualifying battle.

"It's really overwhelming because I've been really struggling in P2, P3. I wasn't comfortable with the car at all," Hamilton told the paddock media.

"Nico has been massively quick all weekend and I had anticipated he would out-qualify me," admitted Hamilton.

Mercedes come out to make a simple mistake with Rosberg, believing his early Q2 time - good enough for second when it was set - would be enough.
