FIA to limits tyre usage
Formula 1 governing body FIA has confirmed that bring in few limitations to tyre using procedures for this weekend's German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring, after the tyre failures at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
Pirelli issued a statement and its says F1 teams tyre used in the wrong way also underlined a list causes, with low pressures, aggressive camber angles and the swapping of left and right-hand side tyres.
In advance of Friday Practice one at the Nurburgring, the FIA confirmed, tyre low pressures, aggressive camber angles and the swapping of left and right-hand side tyres has been banned.
"For safety reasons, we have been asked by Pirelli to ensure that the tyres on all cars are run under the conditions listed below," FIA’s race director Charlie Whiting statement explained.
"It will be the responsibility of each team to satisfy the FIA technical delegate that their cars comply with the following requirements at all times."
