Vettel and FC Bayern Munich: "Sometimes losing is good"

Sebastian Vettel cannot start with the word supremacy much because it difficult to understand his view, the real work - "Sometimes losing is good"

The interview made by German’s - Welt am Sonntag (World on Sunday): They have a higher winning percentage than any other driver. For three years, you and your team have won every title; in 2013 it looks with 21-point lead again promising. Which dominance is greater, you’re in Formula 1 or the court before which the FC Bayern is in football?

Vettel: Phew, I'm not a Bayern fan. That's why I do not hope that they will be invincible, as now all suspects. After such successes as the last weekend one tends easy to overdo anything. They have a good team, no doubt. But now come a new coach that has to import surely only once. Still, I do not think that my harmony (Vettel is an honorary member at Eintracht Frankfurt, Ed) will pass in the next two or three years (laughs).

World on Sunday: What does it say about sports when there are so dominant figures like in Formula 1 or the Bayern this football season?

Vettel: I do not particularly like the word dominance actually. It sounds as if everything happens by itself. It left out all the steps it has taken to reach the goal. The Bayern players have trained hard every day for it to stand now at the top. Of the games that they have won with happiness at the last minute, then no more talking - even if it's not happened so often this year. So it is with us in Formula 1 In 2011 I had a big lead at the end. Still, it was not easy and it cost us a lot of work to reach this level. This was hardly discussed in public.

World on Sunday: Addicted to you about winning?

Vettel: I think the secret is not to get used to it. The results are also increasing expectations. When I first became four times, is a disappointing fifth place. If I am, however, become four sixth, of course I am pleased with fifth place. Sometimes it's good to lose to not get too accustomed to the profits.

World on Sunday: The expectation from the outside is still getting bigger.

Vettel: It has never interested me much. The great pressure, I made myself, I feel no more since the first title. I'm not perfect and grateful that someone corrects me or calls attention to problems from time to time. I'm not presumptuous enough to keep me for the best. The other riders are also no fools. There will always be cases in which someone is faster. My job is to keep the number of these cases as low as possible.

World on Sunday: My role model Michael Schumacher said at the end of his career, he has learned how to lose. It has helped him develop his personality.

Vettel: I do not win every race yes. I have put away disappointments, on the track, off the track, anywhere. It is simply part and formed a human. That's why I see it as Michael. You can learn more from defeats than from victories. After a successful race, it is difficult to discern what was bad.
