Canadian GP: Di Resta on top fastest in mixed condition for first practice
Force India’s Paul di Resta set top fastest lap-time in dry condition for Canadian Grand Prix first practice. The morning session start with heavy rain and waterlogged in track. The Brit took top time of the timesheets with a 1:21.020.
Every one tests their machine with intermediate Pirelli, following the half an hour Red Bull’s Mark Webber set top fastest lap-time with a 1:27.909.
Following few times Monaco GP winner set a 1:26.051 and improved the top time, lower the level to a 1:24.902 and his team-mate Lewis Hamilton posted second fastest time, 0.152s down on Rosberg.
When the dry line began to appear the track most drivers set medium compound and McLaren’s Jenson Button set fastest lap-time, but his final run made only second fastest behind the Paul di Resta’s best.
Lotus’s Romain Grosjean set third fastest ahead of Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso and the Finn Kimi Raikkonen.

The morning session was interrupted by a yellow flag with four minutes to go as Williams’ Pastor Maldonado had a big spin and hit the wall at Turn 4, the crash consequences emerged out breaking off the front wing of his FW35.
