Alonso beat Hamilton to post quickest lap-time in second practice for Canadian GP
Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso closely strike Lewis Hamilton’s best time to set quickest lap-time in Friday second practice session for Canadian Grand Prix.
Dry condition appeared the whole afternoon session and drivers successively completed the practice with soft and super-soft tyres.
The Ferrari duo Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa was set quickest lap-time as using the revised tyres early on the session.
Mercedes’s Lewis Hamilton set second fastest lap-time ahead of Lotus’s Romain Grosjean and Red Bull’s Mark Webber.
Season Pole hunter Mercedes’s Nico Rosberg completed with fifth fastest ahead of Ferrari’s Felipe Massa and defending world champion Sebastian Vettel.
Adrian Sutil set his Force India with eighth quickest ahead of McLaren’s Jenson Button 2009 world champion.
The Brit had to stop slightly early in his McLaren due to gearbox sensor issues, when completed ninth quickest and Toro Rosso’s Daniel Ricciardo completed the top in the second practice session.
