Rosberg still top quickest in Monaco GP second practice
Mercedes duo showed aggressive performance in Monaco Thursday practice, morning pace-setter Nico Rosberg remain top fastest lap-time ahead of his team-mate Lewis Hamilton.
The German took fastest lap-time less than half an hour into the session and his time stays on top in time-sheet, its unbeaten for the rest of the session.
After one hour into the session Lewis Hamilton set second fastest with Super-soft compound. The Ferrari duo Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa set third and fourth fastest respectively.
Double-time Monaco GP winner Mark Webber set fifth fastest for Red Bull ahead of Lotus duo Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean. The Lotus speedy Grosjean made the first crash in this Monaco weekend, the French man miss the breaking point, following skid into the Sainte Devote barriers at end of the start/finish strait.
McLaren’s Jenson Button set eighth fastest ahead of reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel. Force India’s Paul di Resta completed the top in the evening practice time sheet.
