Reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel set top fastest lap-time on first day F1 pre-season test at Barcelona. Force India’s Nico Hülkenberg done second top fastest and McLaren speedy Lewis Hamilton manages third quickest lap-time.
Seven times world champion Michael Schumacher set sixth fastest lap-time with brand new Mercedes W03. Lewis Hamilton completed some long-lap in the second half of the day. He trialled a various type of compounds and done third fastest lap.
Toro Rosso’s Daniel Ricciardo set fourth fastest time in the morning; Ricciardo was the last man to break the 1m24s barrier.

Brazilian Bruno Senna set eighth fastest lap-time with Williams FW34. Caterham F1’s Heikki Kovalainen too suffered a shortened day, as a broken track bar left him stranded sideways at the final turn following just nine laps of running.
Lotus with Romain Grosjean strained to pack-up its first day of testing at Barcelona early because of a problem with its car. Grosjean has done just seven laps with the second E20 chassis in the morning session before the team decided to bring to an end running.
Marussia's Charles Pic run121 laps, 4.7s down on Vettel. The Frenchman racked up 121 laps – the most of any driver - on his first day in the car.
