Maldonado top fastest in third day F1 test at Barcelona


Williams F1 speedy Pastor Maldonado set top fastest lap-time in third day Pre-season F1 testing at Barcelona. The Venezuelan completed the day with 106 laps and he set top fastest with Pirelli Super soft compound. Seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher manages second quickest lap, but his best lap done around one second behind the leader Maldonado.

Caterham F1’s Vitaly Petrov was made top fastest in morning session with super soft rubber and set 1:26.448. But he done job today and set tenth fastest, four seconds behind the event leader Maldonado.

Kamui Kobayashi set third fastest lap-time and he completes 99 laps in the Sauber C31.McLaren’s Jenson Button done fourth quickest lap with 1:23.918, he completed 114 laps.

Toro Rosso’s Jean-Eric Vergne completed fifth, ahead of Champion’s Mark Webber and Ferrari’s Felipe Massa. Massa had a mechanical trouble regarding an hour before lunch but the team managed to get him out again for the final half-hour.

The Australian Mark Webber had previously stopped his work at Turn 8, one of some short red flag break. Force India’s Paul di Resta set the eighth fastest time, to the lead of Timo Glock in the 2011 Marussia machine.
