Mingled Mallya feelings in spite of double points

Force India picked up its second twice points finish of this season in Canadian GP, having first finished so on another street circuit in Monaco just under a month ago. But, Team Principal and Chairman Vijay Mallya admit that he had expected for more.

Even though ninth and tenth - picked up on the last lap as Michael Schumacher was passed by both Tonio Liuzzi and Adrian Sutil - signaled a total of three points, Force India's race aspect a cocktail of events, particularly for the Italian.

"Another double points finish for the team is a very positive result but, given our outstanding qualifying performance yesterday, I think in my heart of hearts I would have hoped for more," Mallya say, with the duo having started fifth and ninth.

"Both drivers got caught in unfortunate accidents and dropped back but they drove excellently to salvage three points, which, given the circumstances of the race, is very good. We also picked up significant damage on both cars in the incidents and to still show that level of performance is very encouraging."
