The Great British city of Liverpool hopes to observe F1 cars on its streets in May in order to rejoice the 'Liverpool Pageant of Power' event. Roads in the city centre will be closed to the public on Tuesday 25 May in order to allow F1 cars, between others, to zoom through. The Silverstone definite as home of the British GP for the next 17 years, fans will be treated to an early on arrival of F1 this year as a selection of motor vehicles are taken to Merseyside including motorbikes, speedboats and a 100 mile per hour JCB dragster, accompanied by classic cars and an airshow.The occasion, organised by the property development firm which build the two billion-pound Liverpool ONE shopping centre (which celebrates its second anniversary this year), will serve as a foretaste for the 'Cholmondeley Pageant of Power', which will be held at Cholmondeley Castle at Malpas in Cheshire this July.
