The Red Bull Racing driver Mark Webber top on Saturday morning free practice session in Melbourne as the Australian GP finished his fastest lap in 1.24.719. Webber ended ahead of Ferrari's Fernando Alonso and Mercedes driver Michael Schumacher.
Both HRT drivers stranded their cars on track with hydraulic troubles. Saturday's free practice session was stated wet by the FIA officials before the session started but the track stay behind totally dry for the complete session.
The Problems for Bruno Senna as the Hispania driver pulls over onto the side of the track as his HRT lost power Bruno Senna had to stop his car at the side of the track due to a hydraulic trouble.
The Brazilian already faced hydraulic problems on Friday in Melbourne and it is unsure whether or not the Hispania Racing Team driver is able to get his car ready ahead of this afternoon's qualifying session in Melbourne.
Alonso goes up to second place even as Webber put in two fastest sectors to lower the benchmark to a 1:24.794. However, Alonso came back, putting in a fastest middle sector to close the gap to 0.135s
Schumacher get another position, P3 for the German, while extra problems for HRT as Chandhok joined his team-mate Senna in parking his car on the side of the track.
Mark Webber completed the session at the top of the timesheets with Alonso and Schumacher right at the back him.
