Eric Boullier has been appointed, as Renault formula 1 team principal for this season. It is the 1 st important declaration by the team since Genii Capital buys a majority share in Dec 09. Eric has powerful associations to Genii's owner Gerard Lopez, having headed up the investor driver management company, Gravity.The news declaration comes after weeks of discussions, but will see Eric Boullier take instant control. He has earlier knowledge in team management having worked with France A1 GP and GP2 team DAMS.I am extremely proud to be joining the Renault F1 Team as team principal, said Eric. His joining will see temporary boss Bob Bell wait at the team and go on to manage the design and manufacture of the car.
